With its picturesque Bavarian old town, array of museums, vibrant arts scene and famous Oktoberfest, Munich is one of the most exciting and varied cities in Europe. Set in the tranquil Botanical gardens in the Stachus district, the hotel is only a short walk or metro ride from these attractions, as well as being just half an hour from Munich's Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport and close to the central train station.

Corporate guests value the peace and quiet as well as the accessibility of Munich's business centre, and leisure guests enjoy being able to stroll to the Fussgängerzone (pedestrian zone) and discover Maximilianstrasse, Residenzstrasse, and Theatinerstrasse, which equal any of the most elegant shopping streets in Europe.

Also close by are Schloss Nymphenburg, (palace to the Bavarian kings and a Baroque splendour) the 18th-century Asamkirche and the delightful Marienplatz, Munich's old city centre with its outdoor cafes and splendid neo-Gothic town hall. Not to be missed either is the Englischer Garten, Europe's largest park, which stretches for three miles along the River Isar, the Nationaltheater Opera House and, of course, the world famous Biergarten and beer halls such as Hofbräuhaus.
