| LOCATION: | The Charles Hotel’s unique location in the heart of the city gives our guests everything they desire upon arrival, however, at the same time the Old Botanical Garden creates an unforgettable atmosphere of tranquillity and serenity. Famous shopping areas such as the Theatinerstrasse, Maximilianstrasse and famous historical monuments can be reached within walking distance. Munich offers a wide variety of museums, a vibrant art scene and its renowned “Englischer Garten” is the largest municipal park in Europe. Munich is also the hometown of the famous Oktoberfest and beer gardens. The public train station is in 5 minutes walking distance and the Munich Airport can easily be reached in a 35 minutes drive. |
| HISTORY: | The Charles Hotel, centrally located next to Munich’s peaceful Old Botanical Garden opened its doors in October 2007. Named after Sir Rocco Forte’s father, Lord Charles Forte it is the latest addition to the Rocco Forte Collection. |

| INTERIOR: | A variety of soft colour schemes combined with dark woods and Bavarian limestone reflect the traditional Bavarian location, yet giving it a modern touch by using contemporary assecoires. |

| RESTAURANT: | DAVVERO The restaurant DAVVERO offers offer space for 130 guests and can be extended into a large terrace with a beautiful view over the Old Botanical Garden. The guest savour traditional Italian cuisine, created by our Italian Chef Giovanni Russo. Furthermore, The Charles Hotel comprises two bars out of which one belongs to the restaurant area. A separate dining room assures a more intimate atmosphere. |
| BAR: | The Bar – a refuge for hotel guests and locals alike. A mixture between modern elements and happenings such as After Work and DJ music and traditional and well-knows customs such as English High Tea and Chess. |
| CONFERENCES: | For business purposes we offer seven conference rooms, fitting up to 60 people, which are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, mostly providing natural daylight. For weddings and other social occasions the hotel has a ballroom that can cater up to 250 people. |
| GUEST ROOMS: | All rooms are bright and very spacious, with views over the picturesque Old Botanical Garden, overlooking the breathtaking Bavarian Alps as well as significant historic monuments of the city. All rooms have sound proof doors and windows, high speed internet access, large bathrooms with limestone vanity tops, original Nymphenburger porcelain together with a separate shower unit. The Monforte Suite (Presidential suite) can be connected with three suites in order to give guests free control over an entire floor – providing a total privacy of 455 square metres.

| HEALTH & FITNESS: | Holistic concepts and treatments define the main characteristics of The Charles Spa. With its 15 metres the indoor swimming pool is the largest pool in Munich. Also our fitness area with a wide range of state of the art equipments offers a large selection to exercise. Furthermore, The Charles Spa holds six treatment rooms, including sauna, steam bath as well as a relaxing area - plenty of space for our guests to indulge themselves and simply unwind.
